In addition to being Australia's leading supplier of magnets, AMF Magnetics is involved in
manufacturing custom built magnetic products that are used by a wide range of industries.

In June 2007, AMF Magnetics was given the task of constructing a hydraulically operated Magnetic drum separator machine, as per the below images. The unit was engineered and constructed by our joint-venture partner in Melbourne and took close to 2 months to complete.

The unit contains powerful Ferrite magnets in a unique configuration which intensifies the magnetic field and also expands it making this unit an excellent device for extracting foreign metal particles quickly and efficiently.

When installed by the customer, the unit will be solely responsible for extracting large
volumes of metal in crushed concrete before it is turned into road base.
