Our downloadable MAGNETIC FLUX CALCULATOR is a simple, easy to use way of calculating the flux density or magnetic strength of a magnet for any given size or shape. Simply follow these instructions:

 

1.) Enter the airgap. If measurement required is directly at the surface of magnet, leave at 0. NB.
Always leave measurement of 0.00001 for blocks. Do not change
2.) Enter measurements in Millimeters.
3.) Enter the Residual Flux.This should be as follows:
Ferrite Magnets		4000
Neodymium Magnets			13000
